Don't be afraid to include Videos in your SEO Process

Is your company optimizing itself in all platforms of SEO? Many businesses are hesitant to venture into the world of Video Production. Most believe it’s complicated, expensive, overwhelming.

However, with free editing software like YouTube Video Editor, iMovie or Windows Movie Maker, any company is capable of reaping the benefits of Video SEO.

Research shows that the average YouTube viewer spends 1 minute and 30 seconds engaged in a video. We believe that’s the perfect amount of time to highlight your business or product. Be precise, informative, intriguing and memorable.

Once you’ve created the video be sure to optimize it to its fullest potential. Use a Title that’s Catchy and also contains Key Words that describe what the video is about.

Be sure to link your business name, address, phone number and website in the description. Tagging a video is most important. This is defining what your video is about to search engines. Be as specific as possible but don’t over complicate the terminology.

There are many other video databases to feature your video besides YouTube. Consider Vimeo, MetaCafe, Daily Motion, Blip.tv. Or if you are interested in featuring your video on ALL of these platforms, consider a Video Distribution platform like OneLoad, StartCut or Hey!Spread.
